A resident artist, Howard Matthew is employed three days a week with a grant that has been secured since 2015 from the Packer Family Foundation. We are also extremely fortunate to use this grant to purchase art resources and specialised art equipment such as a kiln. The grant has been secured until 2022. The resident artist works in collaboration with the classroom teachers to build capacity of both the teachers and also, students. Students from Lucas Gardens and Chalmers Road are also involved in the Visual Arts Initiative.
