ANZAC Day Service

Marie Bashir Public School started a fine tradition which sees our captains represent the school each year by laying a wreath at the Club Burwood ANZAC Day Dawn Service.

This would be an educational experience and highlight of the year for them and one they look forward to in future years with great enthusiasm.

We would also encourage other students from Marie Bashir Public School to attend the dawn service.

The details for this year’s service are as follows:

• 6:25am meet Ms Attard at Burwood Park on Thursday, 25 April, 2019. In the event of wet weather, please meet Ms Attard at Burwood RSL.

• 6.30am service begins at Burwood Park. School captains lay a wreath organised by the school.

Please note, captains and other students attending are to be in school uniform (Winter Uniform).

Prior to the School holidays, Marie Bashir Public School will have an ANZAC Day assembly on Thursday 11 April 2019 at 10am.
