Outside of school hours care (OSHC)

Marie Bashir Public School has an on-site outside of school hours care (OSHC) service. This service operates Rise then Shine sessions, also known as Before School Care, Stay and Play sessions, also known as After School Care and Holiday Care where we provide care during school holidays and school development days.

At our OSHC service, we focus on supporting each child's growth and wellbeing. Getting to know each child individually and creating fun based learning experiences to encourage learning in all its aspects. We do this through fun programs that encourage curiosity and a love for learning.

Rise then Shine (BSC) & Stay and Play (ASC)

Our Before and After School Care service is available to all children who attend our school.

Hours

• Monday-Friday, 7:00-9:00 AM and 3:00-6:00 PM (during school term only).

Holiday Program

Our Holiday Program sessions are available to all K-6 children. Children from other schools are more than welcome to complete the enrolment process and attend our Holiday Program.

Hours

• 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM (during school holidays and school development days excluding all public holidays).

• A healthy breakfast is offered during the morning session. Breakfast consists of staple foods such as Wholemeal & Raisin Toast, a variety of Cereals. We also have  Avocado on Toast, Boiled, Scrambled eggs as well as Omelets and much more. A variety of healthy foods are also prepared and offered during our afternoon session. Pasta, Rice, Sushi, Wraps with cold meats, Sandwiches and much more. Fresh fruit is always available alongside fresh water and milk.

• Our programs meet National Quality Standards and follow all relevant laws and regulations. We are proud to have been rated Exceeding in this Quality Area. The program is child driven and our educators are dedicated to encourage all children in achieving their potential in play based learning.
